A CULTURE OF KINDNESS
We want our pupils to thrive and be happy
Kindness is at the heart of everything we do, and we place a great emphasis on teaching mutual respect and acceptance.
Life at Brighton College Prep Kensington is defined by everyone feeling valued for who they uniquely are. In supporting children to develop their curiosity and love of learning, we help them grow into first-rate versions of themselves – not second-rate versions of someone else.
A Culture of Kindness
Along with preparing pupils for the top senior schools in the country through a programme of academic excellence and inspired learning, our pupils leave Brighton College as well-rounded, confident and kind individuals. Our pastoral system ensures every child feels supported, both academically and pastorally.
Preparing for Life
Our Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHEE) curriculum teaches children the skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy and independent lives. We ensure our pupils are provided with the knowledge and skills to be confident in making good decisions, regardless of what others may expect.
Partnership with Parents
We organise a range of informative seminars and workshops for parents to support their understanding of the latest educational questions. Guest speakers present on a range of relevant subjects, from social media and online safety to getting the most from revision.
Well-being
Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is embedded within our school ethos. Many faiths are represented within the pupil body, with the principles of kindness and understanding underpinning all that we do. Children attend a rich schedule of assemblies inspired by a range of ideas, all of which reinforce our approach to curiosity, confidence and kindness.
